“OUTPOST is an jam night for laptop artists that takes place at Bar Open in Brunswick St, Fitzroy the last Wednesday every month. It’s free and anyone is welcome to come down and join in. We also regularly have feature sets with local and international laptop artists.”

Featuring a semi-regular cast of characters playing music and projecting visuals, all jamming impromptu on their laptops and other toys, this is a very interesting night of sight and sound, moving from melting ambiance to hip-hop beats to digital shards of noise. If you haven’t seen these guys in action before it is well worth the trip out on a quiet Wednesday night.
